Soak under the stars in the hot tub, enjoy a quiet bath in the Japanese soaking tub, curl up by the fire with a good book, walk over the dune to the ocean, or simply listen to the sound of the wind moving through the trees. Moon & Sea Retreat comfortably accommodates up to four guests. The cabin features: • Main-floor bedroom with queen bed • Loft with full bed (accessed via a steep staircase) • Private 2-person hot tub (outdoors) • Japanese soaking tub (indoors) • Cozy gas fireplace • Fully equipped kitchen • Coffee & tea station (electric kettle, Chemex, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, teapot) • Fast Wi-Fi • Smart TVs (1 in living room, 1 in bedroom) • Outdoor seating for 2 Designed with relaxation in mind, the cabin combines cozy comfort with natural materials, calming colors, and spaces that invite you to slow down. Whether you're enjoying morning coffee on the deck, exploring the nearby beaches, or ending the day beneath the stars, every part of the home was created to help you unwind. PLEASE NOTE: The loft is accessed by a steep staircase and requires good mobility and balance. It is best suited for adults and older children who are comfortable climbing stairs. Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire cabin and outdoor living areas, including the hot tub, deck, and private parking. You'll enjoy complete privacy during your stay. A few of the owner's storage spaces and the garage remain locked for housekeeping and maintenance supplies. Interaction with guests: We want your stay to feel relaxing and effortless. You'll have self check-in using a keypad, and you'll have the home entirely to yourselves. While we won't be on-site, we're always available by Airbnb message or phone if you have questions, need recommendations, or something isn't quite right. Sleeping Arrangements • Sleeps up to 4 guests. • One queen bedroom on the main floor. • One full bed in the loft. • The loft is accessed via a steep staircase and requires good mobility and balance. It is not suitable for guests with mobility limitations. Not Suitable for Young Children Our cabin was designed with adults in mind and is not child-proofed. Features such as the loft staircase, hot tub, fireplace, soaking tub, and open deck areas may pose safety risks for young children. A Rural Coastal Cabin One of the things we love most about Bodega Bay is feeling immersed in nature. Because of that, guests should expect: • Wildlife such as deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, quail, hawks, and other native animals. • Occasional spiders, insects, or cobwebs despite professional cleaning before every stay. • Coastal fog, strong winds, and changing weather. If you're looking for a perfectly sealed, urban environment, our cabin may not be the best fit. If you love nature, you'll likely feel right at home. Power Outages Like many homes on the Sonoma Coast, occasional power outages or Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) can occur during severe weather. We've stocked the cabin with flashlights, rechargeable lanterns, extra blankets, and emergency essentials so you'll be prepared if one occurs. Internet & Cell Service Wi-Fi is generally reliable but may occasionally slow due to our rural location. Cell service is unreliable and varies depending on your carrier. Climate The cabin does not have air conditioning. Thanks to our coastal location, temperatures are generally mild year-round, and fans are provided for warmer days. Quiet Neighborhood This is a quiet residential neighborhood. Sonoma County quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and we ask all guests to help us be good neighbors by keeping outdoor noise to a minimum.
